Could I have Lupus?

Many people cope with lupus by learning the variety of symptoms that they may experience. That knowledge (knowledge is power) puts you back in the driver’s seat of lupus. Really, this is true of any chronic illness.

In addition, a solid knowledge base of what lupus IS gives you another valuable tool; as time passes, you’ll learn about the illness. You’ll learn it well enough to teach it. Teaching someone will lessen their struggle and making you feel better about what you can do for others.

    • I might suppose your friend has some symptoms of lupus. If he/she is looking for a doctor to make a diagnosis, a rheumatologist is the speciality physician for this and many are D.O.s Lupus can be VERY tricky, very hard to diagnose, as there are so many other illnesses that mimmic its symptoms, but having lived with it for years and having a medical background, I feel qualified to point you in the right direction if need be, but not to diagnose.
